What if I told you that your net worth is determined by your self-worth, and by self-worth I mean how you treat yourself. A more convincing way would be reading Nancy Levin’s Worthy-Boost Your Self-Worth to Grow Your Net Worth. According to her, the real key to financial freedom isn’t changing what we do, it’s changing how we feel.

In this book Levin elaborates the bridge between our reflection of self-worth and the state of our net worth. She explains how dealing with money issues is directly proportional to about how we deal with ourselves. The book provides ten steps to experience her belief which Levin wants us to understand. In each step Levin offers an amount of exercises and examples to work through our limiting belief. Some anecdotes are written in a manner that explain this concept better.

There aren’t any technical financial advice or information on funds, and investments. This book falls under the categories of inspiration, and motivational. The writing is smooth and does not have a major effect on the book overall as this is a nonfiction book. The length of the book does not have any affect over the context either.

I enjoyed reading this book and I think if you decide to pick this one, it’s worthy of your time.

  1. It’s ironic that some people with very high net worth are miserable and some with low net worth are content. I think this book explains that the root is the issue of self worth.
