It’s less repetitive and felt exciting at that time. ]]> By: napoleonsplit http://readingbooks.blog/2014/11/24/book-review-matilda-by-roald-dahl/#comment-3397 Wed, 27 Apr 2016 18:43:36 +0000 http://amandeepmittal.wordpress.com/?p=2370#comment-3397 I was (am) absolutely obsessed with Nancy Drew. I will try to check out Blyton soon; I’ve never read her. ]]> By: Aman(@amanhimself) http://readingbooks.blog/2014/11/24/book-review-matilda-by-roald-dahl/#comment-3396 Wed, 27 Apr 2016 18:40:14 +0000 http://amandeepmittal.wordpress.com/?p=2370#comment-3396 Carolyn Keene have read few hers, or I should say theirs! I liked passing time with Enid Blyton’s Secret Seven. ]]> By: napoleonsplit http://readingbooks.blog/2014/11/24/book-review-matilda-by-roald-dahl/#comment-3395 Wed, 27 Apr 2016 18:37:44 +0000 http://amandeepmittal.wordpress.com/?p=2370#comment-3395 Yes! And the sequels as well. I was a Roald Dahl, Lemony Snicket, and Carolyn Keene fanatic as a child 🙂 ]]> By: Aman(@amanhimself) http://readingbooks.blog/2014/11/24/book-review-matilda-by-roald-dahl/#comment-3394 Wed, 27 Apr 2016 18:36:17 +0000 http://amandeepmittal.wordpress.com/?p=2370#comment-3394 Yeah, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, that is a complete example of how one’s imagination can be vast. Have read it someday too. Have you read it? ]]> By: napoleonsplit http://readingbooks.blog/2014/11/24/book-review-matilda-by-roald-dahl/#comment-3393 Wed, 27 Apr 2016 18:25:34 +0000 http://amandeepmittal.wordpress.com/?p=2370#comment-3393 A lot of the time even his children’s books have more mature insight than you’d expect. Coupled with the imagination, Dahl is unbeatable. Have you seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? I enjoyed that movie. ]]> By: Aman(@amanhimself) http://readingbooks.blog/2014/11/24/book-review-matilda-by-roald-dahl/#comment-3392 Wed, 27 Apr 2016 18:22:16 +0000 http://amandeepmittal.wordpress.com/?p=2370#comment-3392 I never got to read Roald Dahl in those Childhood days, did not exist in these parts of the world, or at least mine, until I came across Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and one of the librarian told me he writes novels for adults. But I do admire his imagination. ]]> By: napoleonsplit http://readingbooks.blog/2014/11/24/book-review-matilda-by-roald-dahl/#comment-3391 Wed, 27 Apr 2016 18:18:27 +0000 http://amandeepmittal.wordpress.com/?p=2370#comment-3391 You MUST read The Witches! It is absolutely marvelous, and was definitely one of my favorites as a child. The characters and imagination are wonderful in this one as well. ]]>
