Bookish Tweets in June

Some of the books I read in the month of June that I tweeted about.

Sequel to Maestra by Lisa Hilton, will keep you awake at night. If does not, coffee will help.

I enjoyed reading Southwick’s new book. More about it in a review coming up.

Bought two books written by Gary Vaynerchuk after consistently listening to his podcasts. He might sound overwhelming, but he knows what he is talking about.

As they said, Old is gold. I loved it from page 1!

This is an awesome book to read. I re-read it this month. You can check my review of it here.

What are some books you read in June?

  • Elizabeth says: July 2, 2017 at 1:17 AM I have spent most of my listening time with "Great Courses," recorded lectures on history. I have been doing that to end my total ignorance about the rest of the planet that thank God exists outside the Trump insanity. I have listened to Indian history(of course), Middle Eastern, and currently African. While these are surveys, they are 18 hours long, so they do cover quite a bit.

  • Ranjita says: July 3, 2017 at 5:32 PM Great.... Thank you so much to share that secret!!! This would prove to be of great help to me... And yes switching between different context when we read different books at the same is the worst problem I confront when we actually crave to read books from all the more different genres!!

  • @amanhimself says: July 3, 2017 at 4:46 PM Good for you. I think history has many lessons to teach us. 18 hours is a good amount of length to cover much, I guess. Thank you for letting me know about it.

  • @amanhimself says: July 3, 2017 at 4:52 PM Hi Ranjita, I do not read faster than the speed of light. Even if I wish to. Most of the times, if a book needs my complete attention I try read one book at a time such that I am bale to concentrate on the context. These days, I am finding myself reading not more than two books simultaneously, especially of a fiction and nonfiction genres such that context switching does not affect much.
  • @amanhimself says: July 3, 2017 at 4:53 PM In a week, I try to complete 3 to 4 books at the least.
